Our Fort

When I was younger I remember building forts, lots of forts. My mom would let me go crazy in the tv room. I’d gather all the blankets in the house, use yard sticks, pillows, couch cushions…. and then she’d let me keep the fort up for days. I’d invite my hoodies over, we’d eat cheetos til our fingers and mouths turned orange, we’d turn out all the lights and just use flashlights in the fort, we’d play house over and over and over and I loved every minute of it.
Now that I’m a mommy I love to build forts with my kiddos. This is a fort that Jack helped me build. I think we spent a good few afternoons hanging out together in this little fort. Jack wanted to invite the whole neighborhood over just to come see his “cool fort”.
