I have been having one of those stretches in life when you are not exactly thrilled about the person you are or are becoming. Not quite impressed with what I reflect in my words and deeds on a day to day basis. So I have been looking for inspiration. Reading talks. Praying. Thinking. Reading some more. Today I came across this video. I know many of you follow NieNie. I have heard her story but haven’t really followed her blog. I knew she was an inspiration to many and today I added myself to their numbers. Because of her experiences and her humility, she gave me the gift I had been searching for: perspective. It really wasn’t one particular thing she said although there are quite a few pearls. It was the Spirit that washed over me as I listened to this video.

So today I say “Thanks.” Thanks to Stephanie for sharing. Thanks be to the most merciful and wise Father who always helps us understand what we really need.
