My little brother is in love. Sorry to repeat the fact, but he is.
Last weekend I went with these two love birds up Big Cottonwood and took some pictures.
They were giggling, smiling, whispering, kissing… holding hands the entire time.
It’s just about the sweetest thing, “new love” isn’t it?

Gail and Wayne Dudley (Tim’s Grandparents)
Grandma Dudley is just about the sweetest Grams you’ll meet. I never knew Grandpa Wayne, but I hear many good stories and feel the love that everyone has for him.
We’ve had a fabulous week full of fun with our Dudley cousins. The reunion began on Sunday and we just finished last night with a little cook out up Millcreek. It was so great to get together with family that we haven’t seen in quite a while, I loved looking forward to each night knowing that we were all going to hang out and get to know each other a bit better. I’ve only been in this family for 6 years and I love getting to know all of these wonderful people. I feel so blessed to belong to such a loving family. Thanks everyone! We are very much looking forward to next year
And hopefully some of you out of towners might be able to make it next time… we missed you!

So, I think this is pretty fun stuff:
-hanging out with Lyv all day, at home.
-picking fresh blackberries off of our new-found bush in the backyard. A very pleasant happenstance!
-going to the zoo.
-the idea of getting a new computer. (Yes, ours is on the fritz and that means minimal blogging, emailing and the like. So if you want to get a hold of me- you’ll have to revert to 1990′s technology- the telephone.
-having NO laundry left to wash.
-muting the commercials.
-hearing good news about my Grandpa.
-shopping for school supplies. Never mind that I’m not in school or going back to school or have any children attending school- I just can’t resist those deals on markers and folders!
-getting real mail. You know, like in my mailbox.
-Lyv wanting to “nuggle” (or snuggle) with mom and dad.

fun stuff…
This is Grandpa and Cal. A duo that even Mom can’t compete with. While we were at the farm Cal ran up to me to hold my hand and then he looked up and said, “Grandpa hand!” he then ran over to his Grandpa to hold his hand. It was the sweetest thing really.
Jack showing me what he thinks about farms and farm animals.
The Goldies have been in town this past week and it’s been SO SO much fun to have them just up stairs! I love that our boys play so well together…the fun never ends really. Plus almost every night when the boys go down we usually all just chill together – I love it, and I don’t want them to go home!
Oh I love these boys.
Cal was a bit obsessed with the tractors. We had to peel him off the seat and then he just kept running back to it and finally when it was time to go he just cried and cried.
It’s so cute to me, maybe it’s just a “Mom” thing.
The boys enjoyed watching the animals.
“Cal” and “Cow” sound a lot alike, be careful not to mix them up.
This is me and Cal holding hands, yes I was lucky that chose my hand this time instead of Grandpa’s. The boy is so expressive, he so quickly and easily throws his love to you. It makes me the happiest.

Last Saturday we made our way downtown to SLC’s Farmers Market.
WE LOVE THE FARMERS MARKET! There are so many wonderful things to eat and it’s the best place to go people watching. Our kids had a blast trying all sorts of goodies, petting every dog in sight, running around the park, and simply just being outside.
Ahhhh, this is Jackaroo sinking his teeth into some fresh Great Harvest Bread. Delish.
The boys even got free balloon figures…is that what you call them?! You know what I’m talking about right?
Lovely blue grass music played by yours truly, Mr. Mustache Man
You know when you have that incomplete feeling and you can’t put your finger on it? Well we’ve found it, on Saturday… it’s a greyhound. We want one SOOOOO badly. They are retired racing dogs and the sweetest dog-on dogs in the world.
After we died of heat exhaustion we left the Farmers Market and walked on over to Gateway Mall. On our lovely walk we passed the Rio Grand train station. I love all of the old signs in SLC. I am on a personal mission to take pictures of all of them.
Oh I am in love with Utah’s BIG blue sky.
Gateway fountains – a playful heaven for summer afternoons.
I think next time I’m bringing my suit to go fountaining with my kids!
